Hot Off the Press in Boston News!

I am in the HomeSmart section of the local newspaper, Boston Herald for selling a condo in Boston's South End.  Here is a video of the property.

I helped my clients sell their home the first weekend it was on the market.  Which was a huge advantage as they couldn't purchase their new home until this property sold. I sold the condo only $2,000 less than the asking price and they walked away with extra money in their pockets from purchasing the home 3 years prior.

I pride myself in working with you to maximize your home's potential in making sure it is staged for the buyers needs.  My marketing expertise and pricing knowledge is what made this such a quick turnaround.

Please take a moment and contact me and let me know what your needs are!  I would love to help you!  I can help you sell or help you find your dream home.

4 Steps to a Better Sales Price for Your Boston Home

There’s an old adage that says the three most important things in real estate are location, location, location. While location remains extremely important, it’s more accurate to say that our Boston real estate market is driven by location, condition, and price!
Even though home prices in the Boston metro area are rising, home appraisals remain tough and lending requirements are strict. If you intend to put your Boston home on the market in the near future, follow my tips below to attract the best offers.
1. Remember that your home will be examined not only by potential buyers, but by their sales agents, their property inspectors, and home appraisers. The “little things” that might have slipped by in the past, like a leaky faucet, unkempt yard or a loose door handle, can create bad first impressions that are difficult to shake, even if you offer to make the repairs.

2. Remove the excess clutter and furnishings from your home. Rent a storage unit if needed, or fill up a friend’s garage. Open space and plenty of light make your square footage seem larger.

3. Take a hard look at your home’s appliances and furnishings. Old, dated kitchen appliances and worn-out sofas reduce the impression of your home’s value.  If possible, replace dated appliances with energy-efficient models, and consider renting upscale furniture for a month or two. Professional home staging is another option.

4. Hire an experienced Boston real estate consultant who has a proven track record of success – namely me! I will provide you the expert guidance you need for the successful sale of your home.

Whether you’re ready to put your home on the market, or you just have a few questions at this point, contact me for prompt, reliable help with your home selling needs!
